CAMEROON BOROROROS MILITIAN FORCES ABDUCT AND KILLED AN INNOCENT AMBAZONIA

April 2025, Ntumbaw Ndu, Donga-Mantung State, Northern Ambazonia: In the early morning of Thursday, the people of Ntumbaw were struck by horror. Armed elements of the Cameroon Occupation Forces carried out a brutal attack on innocent Ambazonian civilians. Witnesses report that these civilians were abducted, butchered, and killed without provocation or due process, sparking fresh outrage in Ambazonia.

Widespread Atrocities Across Ambazonia

On the same day, a related incident occurred in SAH village, also in Northern Ambazonia. A woman was abducted by members of the same Cameroon Bororos Militia Forces. Her destination remains unknown, but later, she was found dead. These back-to-back atrocities reflect a clear pattern of targeted violence against civilians, particularly women and vulnerable groups, in territories under Cameroon Occupation.

Violation of International Humanitarian Laws

These attacks represent a severe breach of International Humanitarian Laws, particularly the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit violence against civilians during conflict. The deliberate targeting, abduction, and killing of unarmed individuals without trial qualify as war crimes. The use of militia forces to terrorize local populations further undermines International Laws protecting civilians in conflict zones.

Breach of Fundamental Human Rights

The actions of the Cameroon Occupation Forces and affiliated militias also constitute serious human rights violations. Every human being has the right to life, safety, and protection under universally accepted charters like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The killing of innocent civilians without cause or trial violates the most basic of these rights and reflects a policy of suppression and fear.

Calls for Justice and International Accountability

Human rights organizations and Ambazonian advocacy groups are calling for an immediate investigation into the 10 April 2025 incidents. The international community is urged to intervene and hold the Cameroon Occupation Forces accountable for their role in these violations. Without urgent action, such crimes risk becoming normalized, with devastating consequences for the people of Ambazonia.
